With great sadness we announce the death of Evelyn Murray, age 49, of Williamsdale, NS,  at the Cumberland Health Regional Health Care Centre surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 6, 2010, following a brief illness.

Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of  Betty (Jeff) Dobson-Milner and the late Donald Dobson.
A Multiple Sclerosis survivor, she rose above it and maintained her home and family throughout her married life.  A social person, she was a master at  computer communications, keeping in touch with friends and family around the world.  She was a diehard Nascar fan and loved her pets  Her pride and joy were her 3 grand children.

Evelyn will be sadly missed by her husband of 30 years, Myron Murray; her mother, Betty (Jeff) Milner; her 2 sons, Andrew (Ashley) and Anthony; 3 grandchildren, Shane, Alyssa and Desiree; 3 sisters, Beverly (Tim) Mills, Donna (Eddy) Taylor and Crystal (Jimmy) MacDonald and she was known as Aunt Rainbow to numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father, Donald Dobson.

Evelyn's remains have been entrusted into the care of the W. Allen Funeral Home, Oxford, NS  (902-447-2167) from where the funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 2 pm.  Evelyn's family will meet their friends and family at a time of visitation Tuesday November 9, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.   Burial in the Millvale United Cemetery.  Family flowers only, memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis society gratefully accepted.
